Good choice, Shibata is an excellent design for tracking / detail retrieval although the ML is no slouch either.
Shouldn't take long to settle in. Let us know your opinions.

This arrived today happy man now it arrived.Sat down started to read the instructions in my head i thought no problem this should be easy!

Then i started to think twice the fact that the new cartridge could be a diffrent size length wise.
Also See picture attached position rear tab what does this mean ?

Any help advice with this would be appreciated its a very Delicate small fiddly expensive item .

I managed to fit the cartridge today paying attention to detail regarding fitment lucky for me the new cartridge was the same size so didnt have to worry about over hang on the head shell.The only diffrence was the screws had use the ones supplied.
I was very surprised at how different it sounds the detail separation and clarity is amazing yet to run it in but very happy great improvement.Still looking for a Technics SL maybe next year 🧐
This has reminded why I like the sound so much its much warmer and natural than a CD or Streaming.
