I'd say the new ones that come with remote controls ...... as I'm getting old.

The best sounding modern amps that I've heard all use NOS valves that are about 50 years old or more.

i think if you read certain hifi mags you.l find a lot of technology used today is based on or modified from years back. thers some cracking equipment about today but a lot of the older stuff still competes
