new tele and possibly sound bar

im looking at buying a 65" c9 or an e9. costco have them for super cheap.

i bought a marantz SR6012 not so long ago with the intention of setting up atmos but so far have not been able to be arsed to do so. ive turned the amp on twice....incidentally, it might be up for sale soon!

so, im back to the sound bar method

but, the E9 (£2299) is supposed to have quite decent sound, and is £500 more than the c9 (£1799)

the e9 looks (physically) nicer, but I'm not so bothered about it, they have the same panel unless there are any actual picture quality differences that i am unaware of in which case please let me know.

so the question is -

1) c9 plus soundbar, in which case which one (given the c9 has earc, which is great meaning you can pass atmos to it from the netflix amazon apps inside the tv), i then have £500 plus a few hundred more to sink into that. soundbar will be wall mounted
or
2) E9 without soundbar.

help please!

I would go for the C9 plus sound bar I had the E9 for a while and it only started to sound good when you select the AI sound mode but even then it wasn’t great. The Samsung 70r sound bar is really good.

what hifi review says sonos. i really dont like sonos. i have audio pro instead of sonos already....please dont make me buy sonos
