Have just set up my new system in the lounge, really pleased as it rocks when watching movies and not bad at music as well, made a right cockup with the stand as i was originally going to purchase the Monitor Audio BX5.1 with the Yamaha RXV667, but when i went to collect i had a change of heart and got the Monitor Audio RX6AV12 with the Denon AVR2311.

Did not realise till i got home that the Denon and the RX Centre would not fit in the new TV stand where i had planned to put them!!!

Never mind , still chuffed with how it turned out, had the Samsung UE46C8000 3D TV already and had it put on the walls with the wires channelled in to the wall and behind the skirting boards for tidiness.Hopefully below if i have done it correct are the pics!!!

I will post more pics if this one works.

Chris,

What a beautiful set up.

The system looks superb in the room. TV looks great flush against the wall.

Looks like a pro install. You should feel proud of yourself!!!

Would love to upload my pics but have no idea how to

Hi ric71, thankyou, makes all the stress of living in the kitchen for a week with two seven year olds worthwhile whilst i done the work. How did you see the pics , when i copy and paste the url it does not recognise it, been trying to get pics on here all night!!!

Think i will have to give up soon until someone with a bit more knowledge on the subject can explain the procedure !!

I second ric`s comment, beaut of a system Chris and likeing the install. You`ve done well there.

not sure if you have posted the correct pics though, as that system isnt the RX6AV package?

It should look like this?

but very nice all the same, well done!

thanks guys, it is the walnut package. went for the Gloss black RSW12 sub though as they were doing a great deal on a demo model that they had.

chris hollands:Why has my photo not come up anyone????

Just right click on the picture & select "View Medium 500". The picture will load up again. Then right click on the image again & select "copy image location".

Very nice setup.

To upload photos - First of all you need to ensure the photos are
hosted somewhere such as Flickr. www.flickr.com (Free site) and that you
have selected for anyone to see them.
Once this is done you can start to post pictures. Personally I use Firefox but I assume it will be similar for Explorer.

If you Right Click on you image in Flickr it should give you the option to 'View Image 500'. This will bring up a new image. Right Click on the this and click 'Copy Image Location'.

When you post there should be a tool bar available
under the message header. Located on this is an icon of a picture of a
tree. Click on this and it will bring up a little box. The top line will
say Image URL. Paste the URL you previously copied here. Then set the
Image Alignment. Once this is done the dimensions of your image should
be shown. You may need to resize the image if it is too large (more than
400 pixels - although 500 should be ok) as this really peeves of the Mods! Then just click on
'Insert' and job done!!

(Or check out PJPro's tutorial in his signature.)

very nice setup there chris, the rx range is brilliant for movies

Thanks messiah, been pulling my hair out trying to do that (what little i have) !!!

Max, thanks, the quality of the sound has blown me away with movies, hear every little detail ,and when the going gets hectic you feel the power of the system. Over the moon with it and worth every penny.
