New Marantz/Denon BD Players

I've just been told that these won't be available until November at the earliest now.

A company that supply a component for both players has gone out of business, as such they're having to make their own part, hence the delay.

It's a shame as we were eagerly awaiting the UD7005, but these things happen.

I think it might be Funai that have gone out of business, if it is, then I'm glad Denon/Marantz will be manufacturing their own replacement part!

Given that Funai's sales for the first quarter of the current financial year were Y74,900,000,000, or about £561m, I find that highly unlikely.
