Looks like you got done Son of SJ! *smile*bigboss said:Couple of days ago, there was a 65-inch Panasonic 4K on Amazon lightning deal for £999.
Doh, oh yeah! Me thinking you bought a 65-inch set. *smile*Son_of_SJ said:Nah, I'm not going back down to a 65" set!

'sokay, though it does say in my signature ..... Only 75" for me from now on!
The LED Panasonic is shoddy. Thx is very dull so much for 1000 nits! Panasonic OLED rules! He has probably been charging £8000 for one.Son_of_SJ said:Quite by chance, I was in a shop yesterday with the main man of James Morrow https://www.james-morrow.com/brands/ He says:
(1) that the new Samsungs KS9000 and KS95000 are very good, though only a slight upgrade on their very good predecessors from 2015.
(2) He also said that the Panasonic 65CZ952 4K OLED has not been selling particularly well at all. In fact he preferred the picture on even last year's 65JS9500 to the Panasonic 4K OLED.
(3) Lastly, he isn't too impressed with the LG B6 OLED series, but he really likes the imminent LG 65" E6 OLED, it is a substantial upgrade on last year's 65EF950V. It would be a close call betweeen the LG 65" E6 OLED and the Samsung 65KS9500. Unfortunately, I forgot to press him about how the acclaimed Panasonic TX-65DX902B would compare with the other two.

gel said:Btw £6000 for the LG is crazy!
gel said:Who would buy an LG for that amount? *smile*
I was talking about the G LG not the E which is £6000. They are all crazy prices.Son_of_SJ said:gel said:Btw £6000 for the LG is crazy!
I'm not sure where you get £6,000 from and yet again, I'm not clear exactly which TV you mean. If you meant the 65" G6 OLED, then it's showing at £5,300 at Marks Electrical http://markselectrical.co.uk/OLED65E6V_LG-Television.html.

Well, if it's as good as my man from James Morrow said, it might be considered to be worth it by a (admittedly, very) few people. Still, they'd need to be only three-quarters as crazy as anyone who bought the Panasonic 65CZ952 OLED at £8,000 last year ... Or indeed anyone who bought the LG 55EA980W OLED when it was first released about three years ago, I think. That LG cost £8,000, and some people bought it at that price, one of whom later sold it to Milton Keynes ....

errrrrm, isn't your TV an LG with a Panasonic badge on it, and cost 6k? I appreciate it has Panasonics software driving it but come on mate, its still a lot of money for your TV..
