Having just bought a Play:5 I also wondered about this and I guess the the stereo seperation will be better.

I daren't ask myself if I would have preferred 2x Play:1 instead of a Play:5 as it's too late now!

I'd just get one first, but if the 3 is anything to go by the sound does change markedly as a pair.

Snos continually come up with the goods. If you're short of money and/or space, they let you get involved.

No, I won't be swapping my speakerettes for any.
