Great News
for anyone who has the last gen Yamaha’s

Yamaha have
just released new firmware for the RX-V1800 and RX-V3800 designated as V:N060 for the 1800 & V:O061
for the 3800 which improves the video section of the amp enabling RGB full
range repeat through HDMI.

This should
mean owners of the above amps will no longer experience any BTB and WTW clipping
or “crushing” resulting in better low range black detail and high range white
detail as long as the source supports it.

It is a USA
release but so was the 513.r4 firmware that fixed the DTS-MA “Bomb/Pop” and
that worked fine. Use at your own risk!

Great news
for me as I have just bought an 1800 of ebay!

Any UK
