Oh :( Good start there lol.

What I was trying to as is that I'm in the market to replace my AE AEGO M system which I've had for a number of years now. The volume control is playing up a bit and is also very noisy. I love the big weighty sound of this 2.1 system and am looking for something similar to replace it, although a bit more up to date. What's around for the £200-250 mark that could be suggested.

Many thanks in advance!

If you could push your budget to 300 it will put you firmly in territory to buy the B&W mm-1 speakers (used or ex dem). They are 400 new. Have owned them for a few months and are getting a lot more air time than my main hifi.

The speakers dont have a sub but i dont feel they needs one. Some people have managed to rig a sub up to it anyway. By the way its a dac, amp and speakers so its the tidiest solution ive seen.

All the best

Recently bought some Audio Pro Addon T8 for £249 - excellent sound, bluetooth connectivity and with the bonus of the best remote ever - milled from a solid lump of aluminium. Why can't all remotes be so good?

I had a quick listen to the Audio Pro LV2 the other day. Tiny things, amazing sound considering and wireless, not to mention they look amazing (leather finish).

Rather over budget though
