New Dali Ikon series

At the moment I have the following system ;

Marantz CD 6002
Marantz PM 6003
Dali Lektor 2

The system sounds very good for the money.
I really like the look of the new Ikon series. I'm interested in the Ikon 1 mk2 or the Ikon 2 mk2.
Will either one of these speakers be a big upgrade ?
The only thing that worries me is that I read in a lot of reviews (of the old Ikon series) that the speakers are a bit too
bright and the treble can sound harsh at times.

Your thoughts please.

Richer Sounds have the Ikon 1 in-store at £350. Nearly went to have a listen at them but decided to curb my ambitions!

The older Ikon range is a great range and you can get some really good deals on the older stuff at the mo'.

Or will the Avi Neutrons V a good buy ? I can get them cheaper than the ikons........

We have them in store and the new range is a step up from the old. The Ikon 1 is shallower with more bottom end. The top end is tamed slightly although I didnt think it was an issue on the MK1 with the correct electronics.

Either MK1 or MK2 will work perfectly with the Marantz kit - this is one of our most popular combinations and it always surprises me just how much sound you get for the money.
