Just got some new channels on freesat, Simply movies and Bet+1 and 2 others that must be shopping or something. Thats 6 movie channels now, at least as promised they are adding more and more content.

No, C4 HD is currently on Sky HD and Virgin has done a deal to add some C4 HD content by the end of this year. Freesat only has BBC and ITV HD.

So theres still only two hd channels? Do you think there waiting until the digital swicth over ?
surely if its called freesat hd there should be alot more to come, as hd becomes the norm sky and virgin shouldnt be able to hog all the hd, anyway ive ordered my humax freesat then it will be goodbye sky.

I have contacted my local Freesat installer and will be getting it in the new year. Shortly after I take delivery of my new TV and Humax box.

I am not too worried that there is not much HD content as yet, I think it will come eventually.

freesat is a much better proposition to me than Sky. I was surprised how many people here at work are switching over to Freesat from Sky. For most it seems the cost and others pretty much get all the channels they need on Freesat.
