Apple, Cupertino idiot tax rubbish, ordinary people don't care.

I don't care about the remote or how fast it is. All I want to know does the new box still mess around with the audio or does it pass through the audio undiluted to my AV amp. The sound quality is terrible on the current 4K model compared to the nVidia Shield which just passes the data through for the AV amp to decode. I wonder why What Hi-Fi haven't picked this up?!?!? Hmmmmmm

Why is it so hard for Apple to really improve a product. Much of America has lousy internet requiring movie downloads and local storage to view in 4K. Is it really that hard to add a USB port and support for an external HDD. Apple's $2X premium per GB for upgraded storage and low onboard storage are cons. Their products contain poor DACs and only minimal effort at sound quality. Over 1/2 the experience of home theater is the sound. Wake up Apple. Yes, I understand I can workaround many of these complaints using a laptop but that's the last thing I want open during movie night.
