new amp to go with monitor audio bx5s, need help dont want to get it wrong again

hi, im thinking of changing my amp, which is a rotel ra04, im keeping my monitor audio bx5s and cam audio cd 650, and denon fm tuner, i also use an ipod connected with phono leads, i listen to rock and all music in general and fm radio my room is 15x12 and my budget is 450/500, i will audition when i make my choice, can anyone recommend an amp that will go well with the monitor audio bx5s thanks

My BR5s sounded lovely with a Marantz 7200 before I sold it and went AV. I would demo a Marantz 7004 in your shoes.

I'd def demo the Marantz too. Or save a bit of cash and find a good 7200, you'd be able to re-sell without too much of a loss if it doesn't suit.
