New amp/speakers or both?

Hi Guys.

My current setup is kef ls50, arcam a29 amplifier and arcam d33 dac.
Kef ls50 and the arcam a29 amp are both a bit warm and dark sounding. The sound is good, but i have heard that a brighter sounding speaker for the arcam a29 would be a better match. Or a brighter sounding amplifier for the kefs. All in all, i think im looking for a clearer and brighter sound that i am getting now. But i do not want to loose the detailing and transparency im getting now.

Much may depend on how big your budget is.

Also size of room may be relevant.

You could look at Triangle, Focal, PMC, GamuT or ATC.

Alternatively, you could keep the LS50s and change the amp to something like Rega or Creek.
