Hello, first of all I'm from Spain so sorry about my english.

I've got a pair of Quad 12L2 (MA BR2's previously) speakers paired with a System Fidelity SA-270 amplifier rated on 50watt at 8 ohm and I think speakers are asking for more current power, specially at high frequencies. Could you recommend me any amplifier or power amplifier to conect to the pre out?. My listening room is about 20mts and listen to vinyl with a project debut III phono sb (very low output which I'd like to improve) and cd with pioneer dv-696. I listen to every kind of music less metal and hiphop. My budget is up to 900 eur (700-800 pounds) but I just whant to spend the necessary and is very difficult for me to make auditions where I live.

What about these?:

- Marantz PM 7004

- HK 980 or 3490

- Rotel RA04 or 1520 or RB1560 (power amp)

- CA 550 or 650

Any others?😛ray:

Thanks.

A used Quad 909 power amp would be perfect. Can pick one up used for £600 if you look around
