Netrual headphones

Hi im looking for a pair of netrual headphones that i can listen to with my iphone. I want to hear the music as it was recorded without any extras or take aways. Any tips?

AKG K553 is excellent. The K550 might be as good, don't know. The Philips X2 and Senn HD25-1-II are close to that. Thinksound ON1 is very good. Philips SHP-9500 is good, and inexpensive. Sennheiser HD380 pro is good, Shure SRH-840 is excellent. Edifier H850 is very good. Brainwavz HM5 is very good. Bose QC25 or QC35 is near neutral in Active mode.

My first choice: AKG K553. Next, Shure 840. Next, Brainwavz HM5. Next, Bose QC35. There are a few, but very few, more expensive headphones that are close to neutral, such as the AKG K712.

I did very much like the sound signature of the HD25-1 MK2 but my head felt like it was in a vice.

Has anyone found a way of making this thing fit comforably on anything other than a jivaroan shrunken head?

what is youre opinion on the B&W p7??

The P7 is dark, and has some coloration, but it's still a better-than-average sound. The price is pretty high for what you get though.
