It's good to give speakers a good thrashing now and again. It keeps them supple. Well that's my argument Mr Noise Abatement Officer and I'm sticking to it.

Why four Mono X's crossie?

So he can put them on the floor in blocks of two , side by side. Trompe l'oeil kind of thing.

Visitors will think Crossie has a pair of proppa monos ;).

I have the house to myself. How loud is really loud?

You're not really trying until:
- Your ear drums are waving a white flag.
- Your pupils are glazed and unresponsive.
- Your heart is now accurately tracking the drumbeat.
- A small puddle of wee has mysteriously appeared on the seat.
- Any pets (within a mile) have run for cover.
- Your neighbours are wondering why they hadn't heard about the apparent music festival.

NB If I hear it in Ireland, you need to back off one notch.

When you can't hear the doorbell/guy from Parcelforce banging on the front door, so you miss a delivery- as we did this morning. Ooops...

If a sudden silence happens and you will never be able to hear properly again, that means that your eardrums have been blown to peaces, or something like that, then it is loud!

I used to listen kinda loud but lost apetite for that, while nowadays i am listening with what is left from my hearing.

But go ahead! Enjoy!

I once had a go of sitting in an SPL competition van at full volume (while wearing ear protectors obviously). The bass was so intense that my eyeballs were quite litrally vibrating in their sockets making my vision go blurry and the air pressure was stronger than my diaphragm muscle making it impossible to breath. I lasted for about 3 seconds and it felt like my guts had been turned inside out. It was a very uncomfortable/painful experience that I will never repeat again.

That was really loud!

You don't need to be doing anything distracting with Parcelforce to not deliver to you.

I have, by chance, been looking out of the front window and seen them post a, delivery failed, postcard through the door without making any attempt at knocking or using the door-bell. When I have spoken of this to friends some have had the exact same experience with them. My experience of Yodel is similarly dire.

Never had any trouble with either of these firms.

In my area it is Sh**tyLink that takes the biscuit. (soon to be EDITED BY MODS)
