Need speakers for RXV 1065

What floor standing speakers will go well with yamaha RXV 1065?

Monitor auidio RX6 get my vote, if budget allows, if not BX5.

What is your budget and do you just need the fronts or complete package? I would look at Monitor Audio as they work really well with Yamaha amps.The BR5 or BX5 with the BR5 being reduced to around £800 and the newer replacement the BX5 around £1300.Also the Aegis Neo 3 v2 complete package at £900.My choice for value and great partnership would be the BR5's.

I would think that the RX6's are too good for the 1065, I'd go with Lobby's recommendation.

When I auditioned my 1067, they used some RX6 upfront to demo the sound capabilities, OK it's a little more powerful than the 1065, but not by much, and it certainly seemed like it was doing a good job with them. I would have the RX6 upfront myself if I could get it past the Mrs and I thought my 2yr old daughter would not touch them.

My brother just bought the BX6 speaker package with bx2 surround for £1265 from sevenoaks
