Current HiFi is Cyrus Streamline, Kef R100s, and a ProJect Debut 2I was wandering if you could help me spend some money
As you can see my setup is modest to say the least, and I was looking at where it would be best to spend about £500 to improve audio quality. Changing their locations and stands etc. are currently not possible, and I'm looking at the Kef R series 5.1 setup when I move, with a view to playing more music in the living room. Therefore I'm not looking to change the 5.1 or stereo speakers at this point. But the rest is pretty open to change, and here are my thoughts so far...
1) New integrated for the Streamline, which will leave everything analogue on the TT side, and provide extra power to the Kefs (maybe a 6xp or Brio-R)
2) New Power amp, which will provide more power to the kefs, but means I'll have to keep Lindy ADC.
3) New AVR as I will need one eventually to power the Kefs in a 5.1 setup (maybe a Marantz SR5007)
4) New Blu-Ray player (maybe a UD5007)
These are the only options I've considered, but I defer you wisdom on the matter now. If you have other suggestions, or can recommend good equipment for any of these options I would greatly appreciate it.
