Hi everyone,

I’m new to the Outdoor TV world and getting a bit overwhelmed with all the technical specs. I’ve read so many threads, but I still can’t quite piece everything together. Instead of relying on ChatGPT, I thought I’d ask you experts directly.

I’m setting up an outdoor entertainment area on my patio. It gets partial sun during the day, and I’d like a TV that can handle bright conditions without too much glare. My viewing distance is around 3–4 meters, and I mostly watch sports and Netflix.

My budget is around $2,000–$3,000, and I’m considering these Outdoor TV options for Black Friday:
  1. SparK Outdoor TV – 2000 NITS / IP55
  2. Samsung Terrace (Partial Sun model)
  3. Furrion Aurora – Partial Sun
For those who’ve owned any of these, which one would give the best visibility and durability in a semi-sun area? Also curious about real-world glare performance and weather resistance.

Any advice or quick comparison would be massively appreciated.

Thanks!

@daytona600 you call that a screen? 🙂 Check out the inflatable ones. Not a good idea if you live in Miami. I'd imagine you can peg it into the ground.

You might need one of these and a high res water proof projector.

Do you have a big garden, nosey neighbours peering over your fence could be an annoyance!
