Season’s greetings!
Need a good wifi audio receiver. I use Apple Music almost all of the time now ( use my phone as main source) I have cheap wifi audio receiver atm which feeds my arcam irdac with optical signal and irdac feeds the amp with analogue. I am not looking to change my DAC, irdac does an excellent job.
Reason for seeking a new receiver is that my current (iEAST)isn’t robust enough in terms of wifi connectivity.
Need something with more robust wifi connections.
Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Does the iEAST have an ethernet port?

A hardwired connection will always be more robust than than relying on the vagueries of WiFi

You need to find out if the problem is the iEAST isn't very stable connecting to WiFi or if the WiFi signal is poor where it's placed in which case whatever you put there is going to suffer the same.
You can get a free WiFi analyser App on your phone to tell you what the signal's like.

If it's a poor signal, as @daveh75 questions, does it have an ethernet port in which case even if you don't have a socket near the iEAST you could run a powerline adapter to it .
If it doesn't have a an ethernet port you could look at a WiFi range extender to boost the signal or powerline adapters with an access point.

I've used WiiM streamers on WiFi and don't have any problems but I do have a good WiFi signal and connect them to 5 ghz which is better.

I am making the assumption that the problem is more with the iEAST streaming rather than your wifi.

I've seen reviews for an iEAST model (M30) on Amazon, which may not be yours. The reviews for the M30 are not great.

(And the company website reports privacy errors, probably due to a misconfigured certificate, which would instantly put me off such a device. Especially given the certificate is due to expire mid-January, which probably means its been wrong for a while. I did not proceed to the site, for obvious reasons.)

A Wiim Pro would be a good option, given you already have DAC. The Wiim Pro has ethernet as well as wifi. My Wiim Pro connects to the onboard DAC of my amp and never given me any trouble. Wiim support is good with regular OTA (Over The Air) firmware updates, both bug fixes and new features.

The Cambridge MXN10 is also worth a look.

My original plan was to keep the irdac and just add a better receiver. Now I am kind of learning towards getting a complete new unit. Sell my Marantz SA 8005 and irdac, get whatever I can to fund either CA CXN100 or Eversolo DMP A6. I very nearly bought the DMP A6 today actually, somehow was able to stop myself. I need to sell dac and cd player first.
