Need a way to transmit audio in a wireless way from a TV to a speaker

In the evening, my wife watches TV with my daughter in the living room and the sound of the TV is too loud for me (my nerves are weak when I am tired at night). I want the sound much quieter. They cannot sit directly in front of the TV, because it is uncomfortable to sit so close to a TV screen. So they sit on a couch about 3 meters away.

I am looking for something so the audio will no longer have to leave the TV and travel across the room to the couch where they are sitting, I want to find a gadget I can plug into the headphone jack of the TV (we have a digital TV) and transmit the audio to a speaker that I can put on the table next to the couch where they are. If the audio will be right next to them, it won't need to be that loud. So I need a transmitter and a receiver that can send audio wirelessly.

Would someone please tell me which product to get?
