need a new blu ray player

hi all my blu ray player stopped working this morn so i need a new one.i have a budget of 200 to 300 quid wot would you reccomend cheers

Sony BDP-S360, Pioneer BDP-320, Panasonic DMP-BD80 - what does your kit consist of?

What's your set-up consist of? The 2 biggies doing the rounds lately are, the highly rated Sony BDP-S760 is £299 in Richersounds, or alternatively, depending on your needs the Sony BDP-S360 is only £80 here;

There is quite a few to choose, You have the Sony's the S360 around £80 - £100 and the S760 around £300. Also Pioneer BDP-320 around £300 and if you have Panasonic equipment and want to use the Viera Link feature, there is the DMP-BD60 around £160 - £170 or the DMP-BD80 at around £250.

Whats your screen? Try get a demo of some of the above mentioned players with your screen- ( if it's not to old ) or one similar

If you have the funds id audition the Sony S760 and the Pioneer BDP320, they would be sweet with that tv.........

hi boss it seemsto be sticking at 3 seconds,tried with a few blu ray and dvd and all the same. its maybe 3 years old.

i think it needs to be less than two years old to claim against it , do you have any plans to upgrade your tv in the next couple of years ?? if so , id get a sony bds360, their very good , you could then maybe move it to a bedroom and replace it with a 3d player , should you go down that road , only £80 , and works perfectly , pin sharp pic on my tv anyway....

hi max.no i,m not going to change my tv until it breaks.i bought it nov 2008 for my b/day (£900)and lost my job 3 weeks later so its stayin for a while as the wife would go nuts. i might just buy it as its cheap and take it from there

it sounds like the sensible choice , my friend has a 40a656 sammy , very nice tv , lovely sharp pic , i dont think you would gain much over a 360 with a 40in tv anyway . if at all...
