Neat Motive 1 - How Many Terminals?

Simple question. How many sets of terminals should a pair of Motive 1s have?

I had a pair on home demo that had two sets, i.e. bi-wireable. Having decided to buy them I've just received my new pair and they have 3 sets of terminals, i.e. tri-wireable!

I assume one is a newer model but which one?

To answer my own question, it looks like the tri-wireable one is the newer model based on the product number on the back of each set of speakers. It's actually a bit inconvenient for me as I have bi-wire speaker cable, so I need some additional jumpers now!

Any Motive 1 owners who know when and why they made this change?
