Naim XS3 So Musical

I’ve had my Naim XS3 for a few months now

I purchased it used but was manufactured in 2025 so has the white Naim light so a very late version. I paid so little for it and consider it to be a bargain purchase

I absolutely love the XS3 as it’s so musical sounding

I am currently running it with a Cambridge Audio MXN10 streamer as a source which I know a lot of people will say it’s not good enough… but it works so well

I have ATC SCM19’s speakers and it’s sounding incredible as a crazy system

I know it’s probably not a classic system but it sounds so good together

So MXN10 via a Naim RCA to DIN cable into the XS3 then out via NACA5 cable to the wonderful ATC 19’s

Of all the systems I’ve built over the last 35+ years, including expensive SET amps etc, this is probably the simplest but it sounds amazing

I know people will say that this system is flawed and I totally understand that but it’s a system that just works together and sounds amazing for some reason

I think the biggest system improvement were the ATC 19 speakers… they are incredible… music just flows from them so effortlessly

ATC’s are built like a tank and are very heavy for their size but they sound amazing…. UK built and amazing sounding speakers… well done ATC!
