Naim Interconnect question

Hello,

I currently have a CD5i-2/Amp 5i-2 set up with B&W685 speakers. I run NACA5 speaker cable and wonder what effect an interconnect upgrade would make? I was looking at the hiline and the Chord Anthem 2. What are your thoughts? Is it worth the investment?

If you are using Naims 5 pin din connections and supplied interconnects you are fine.

In that system, I'd rather sell the 685's, add the £500 to it, add a little more, and get better speakers, which will be a far greater upgrade. The Chord interconnects are fine, and should really be considered by those with Naim pre/powers or the SuperNait. I'd always recommend the customer to put their initial bulk of the money into the electronics, as cables can easily be upgraded later on.
