Naim : DAC V-1 + NAP100 OR UnitiLite ?

I can confirm that the unitilite does indeed support external HDD's via the usb port as i use this as my primary source (my external HDD is powered by a seperate PS though, cant comment on passive HDD's)

it will replicate and display what ever folder format you set on the HDD.

I havent heard the NAP100 but can tell you that the amp in the Unitilite is very special indeed, you need to listen for yourself though ideally!

This supplier friend of mine poisoned me even further last night. Recommended me Uniti2 with the ProAc tablette anniversary speaker. He told me initally that this tablette is not full scale speaker like studio 115 and Response D2 but last night confirmed that it will outperformed studio 115, its juz that it doesnt roar as loud, making me change my plan again.

Can anyone advise if its the extra 20W is worth that extra £1000? How much sound quality difference is this Uniti2 compared to UnitiLite if I take that ProAc Tablette Anniversary speaker to pair with?

Is it also true that Naim products must use Naim NACA5 speaker cables to give best results?

U mentioned that it will replicate whatever folder name I give, so we have to sort them out by folders? Lets say I duplicate my itunes library on this 3.5" HDD, does it give me the option to play or search by artist, by top rated playlist?

Make sure you listen to the speakers before you buy them. DO NOT just purchase based on the opinions of others. The tablettes are great speakers, but the bass does not go very low so they aren't great with all types of music. The frequency ratings in the specs on ProAc's website are very optimistic. 35hz would be down 10db and probably with the impact of a room.
