Nad Viso 2 vs Arcam Solo Mini

I was about to purchase the Solo Mini but since WHF's review of the NAD Viso 2 I am considering he latter instead. Musically how do the two compare? Which are suitable speakers for the Viso?

They perform different functions really so a comparison in the common feature- CD playback is a bit unfair on the NAD. If you want to compare apples to apples you'll need to compare to the ARCAM solo movie 2.1

Having said that, if we continue the comparison- here's my opinion on the pros and cons

NAD VISO 2:

Decent cd playback for what it is- a combined home cinema solution
Very good value for what it is- compared to the ARCAM solo movie 2.1
Does lots of stuff the solo mini doesn't
It's a bit of a whopper but looks quite nice
DAB is extra
Not always silent operation- there's an onboard fan

ARCAM SOLO MINI:

Much better suited to hifi needs
Sounds lovely for it's size and price bracket
Much smaller than the Viso 2
Is a hifi only solution

As for speakers- depends on your budget
