Hello, i have just purchased a Nad 3130 amplifier and would really appreciate help with understanding how to match compatible speakers with the amplifier. On the back it says 200watt power rating, and has 2 options for impedance 4ohm and 8ohm. After browsing the internet it says the amp has a continuous power output of 30watt at 8ohms. I cannot seem to grasp how this all works. If anyone has any speaker recommendations for this amplifier would be very much appreciated. Thanks

200w is the power consumption of the amp, its a 30W per channel output.

Virtually anything will work speaker wise, and much of the choice will depend on your budget and size of your room. I would probably consider something like Wharfdale Diamonds or Cambs Audio S30's

Most (not all) speakers fall into the 8 ohm range, it would tell you on the back of the speakers you choose.
