Nad remote controls

I'm selling a NAD remote control on ebay at the moment and have been asked if it will work with the c541.

The data sheet for the c541 doesn't mention which remote it shipped with, but i know the c541i shipped with a different one from that i have.

My question is are the remotes interchangable? I know i can use the system remote on any cd player (i think) so it makes sense that a different player could be controlled by my cd remote?

I get the impression companies usually stick with the codes they have rather than change all the time but would like confirmation if andone can provide it.

i know my previous player c542 worked with the sr4 which maked me think that the c541 which is about at the same tine would work with it too, although the 541i shipped with the cd3

Well just been looking at the codes for the HTR2 and there are 2 sets of codes for the CDP it depends if it is the new or the "old" CD

sorry no idea.

thanks very much i had a look at the nad site and the Crestron remote controller Remote codes, which made it seem like it should.

so thats what i said; 'not sure, i think so, go look here and make your mind up'
