Hello there. I have the b&w 685 s2 and nad 326 bee. I was looking for amp upgrade. Cause of nad is good with b&w and because of i don't have the opportunity to listen other...i decided to make a blind buy for the 356bee. On other hand i see the new one c 368 at the same money....i scared of the new technology....which one i should prefer and why?!

And some other questions. I play with j river. Usually se eq is in rock and always the bass from amp is max. Power cable is vovox initio and sound cable is kimber 8vs. Today i will try the 12vs. About power distributor i have a cheap one about 50euros crystal audio....if i buy other power distributor in about 200euros will i have difference in sound or not?! My dac is ifi micro with iusb 3.0 nano. Usb cable from laptop to dac i have the cable that was in box with iusb 3.0 and from iusb to dac the ifi gemini. I thought to change the cable laptop to dac....i buy a kimber but i had bass cut so i put back the ifi cable that was in the box. So maybe the ifi mercury is a good choise.i also see the VU 1 USB and wireworld starlight 7. At the end for interconnect i have the ifi interconnect that was in box. I buy van den hul the name but i didn't like so much. There is a upgrade for my dac called ipurifier2....but i don't know the results.Which part of all these can i change to take a good result without to spend a fortune?!

Thanks a lot

The c368 appears to me, to be built on the same building blocks of UcD than the D3020, obviously with a bigger power supply and more than double the power (still waiting to read anything to confirm my suspicion, I may very well be wrong on this account). The D3020 sounds great with the 685 s2's, and even better with a well set up sub. So the c368 should work very well, since the d3020 can run out of puff at very high volumes and the 685's.

i think you are wrong. The Nad d 7050 is more expensive than the c 368. The c 368 have 80watts and the 7050 50. So is not the same think. The nad D have quality.

in my country nad d is 200euros more expensive.Never mind....i don't know what to choose. In the other hand a subwoofer maybe will be better than to buy amp.

the new c338/c368/c388 are 'hybrid digital' amps (NAD-speak, as is the D3020), where as the d7050 is 'direct digital', as in their master series... totally different approaches... but the 'hybrid digital' amp sounds pretty good to me. Never listened to music through a D7050 though. The new c3xx models appears closer in design philosophy to the D3020 than the D7050.
