Looks fine although, you'll be hard pushed to find all of those in one store, its hard finding the speakers so i guess you have to shop around. I think its worth spending the extra £50 on the Yamaha AX863SE and partnering with Chord Carnival speaker cable. Obviously youve looked at what other options are available ie 50" Panasonic plasma and Panasonic BD-55, but yeah system will be fine just giving you other suggestions make sure you audition before buying if poss. This avoids dissapointment and difficulities with returns best of luck

Hi,

Don't need to worry about upscaling as SKYHD does this with all channels if you set it to 1080i so don't buy the Denon purely on that reasoning.

Everything else looks a good choice - make sure you give everything a good demo before you buy. Take your own movies/cd's with you so you listen and watch something you are familiar with.

Enjoy.

Cheers,

HI,

Panasonic gives an excellent picture here. I get full range of Freeview channels and SKYHD picture and bluray is excellent. I would have liked a bigger TV too but the practicality at my house meant it would have been overkill.

I would and have recommended Panasonic to friends, Romans and countrymen and would continue to do so until I see one with a bad picture. Considering a Panasonic bluray player to try and cut down remotes but my other half will have a lot to say on that matter!

Cheers,

Again on the upscaling. All HD TVs do this anyway. The only question is whether the AV amp, or source does it better. Your TV will be at least as good at upscaling as the Denon IMO.
