That system and layout looks superb. MA can really turn out a speaker! I would really like to hear that combo as I suspect it works very well. Enjoy!

Give those RX2's a good 150-200 hours running time and they'll sound superb.

I nearly bought them in gloss black but went for the RX6's instead.

The RX2's really do have a superb soundstage though; IMO better than the GS10's!

Lukas M - superb pictures, lovely setup!!!!!!!!

May I ask your opinion of the Marantz MA RX combination? I have a Marantz PM8003 with the RX2s for my office, the combo is great except probably lacking a bit of High Frequency bite and the Bass is sluggish and slow when played loud imo. These 2 problems are very very slight and not a disaster. I wonder how you felt the 2 gel?

This is probably due to the fact the new RX series are unlike the GS or the old RS speakers which had a tendancy to the high frequencies ever so slightly.

Probably being picky, but system matching is important to me

Maybe your office is to small for rx2? My system is in 4m x4m room and is perfect for me,the bass high frequency and midd range are well balanced

Possibly, I shall run tests when I possible can. Its a 5m squared room, which I think is too small for the RX2s which is why I maybe getting a slight overblown effect on the bass, which effects the rest of the sound for me.

Anyway - system looks stunning. Love the oak finish on the RX2s. The gloss black is very nice but gets messy too quickly and needs constant care with the dust - Good choice Lukas

Lukas: The RX2s look lovely in Oak (my old MAs are oak too!)

Vinny: I don't think 5mx5m should be too small for a pair of RX2s. If they're sounding a little overblown, have you tried pulling them off the wall slightly (with some toe in as an option) and even considered bunging the rear port?

Yea ive tried most things. The best thing for me ive found, is to put the bass level on the Marantz just above half way - then im very happy with the sound per pound level I get. They are some awesome speakers for the money!

Hi Luke, nice speakers. Maybe you should put some blue-tack between your RX2 and stands (if you have not done so).

Am interested in getting a RX1/2/6 speakers myself for my Marantz SA/PM8003 when I move house later this year.

Since the bedroom is too small 3x3m, I am thinking of getting the smallest RX1 or the most RX2. Would love the RX6 though.

Just a bit worried as review for the RX1 mentioned that it should not be partner with warm and bassy electronics.

I feel that the SA/PM8003 sounds slightly warm to me, through my old Tannoy M1 speakers.

Not sure if I should go for the RX1/2 or not.
