Ronald Archiebald,

With so many different speaker packages to pick from, I keep seeing Q Acoustics popping up on all the forums and I keep changing my mind from the kit list above. The AMP is 100% confirmed just the speaker package I am struggling with.

Bapodra,

I had the Mordaunt Short Premiere package but with the original sub, i.e. MS308. It's a discreet little package that is ideal for a bedroom, conservatory or a small living room - it has it's limitations so don't expect it to go too loud.

The Q Acoustics 1010i package is a superior system (with full size bookshelf speakers) and is on offer now for £299.95, which is somewhat of a bargain. I owned this too - it has a big performance for the money, but I found the soundstage between the front three channels and the subwoofer not as integrated and as cohesive as I had hoped for.

There are many options out there for the different price ranges. It will depend on your budget and your listening taste. Try to audition as many as you can before you decide.

Ronald
