hi, thanks :) i really dont know. i will have to start doing some research, kind of fancy getting a 3d capable tv but not sure of make or anything really yet, wouldnt need to be a smart tv as the ps3 can do anything one of those can and probably better!

dont think id want to be spending more than £700 either..... this probably limits me to very few tvs!!

usually lg tvs are good with sd-aerial or received via video connection.HDMI seems do ruin the image a bit.

the gt30 iv'e got is going for under £700 now,if you can find one...last years model

i had a samsung led for about 5yrs before the gt30,the difference in quality in new generation tv's is astonishing tbh.

really not sure which id get, may have to go have a look at a few. is 3d the way to go or is this still a bit of a gimick????

Tbh yes it is although avatar is stunning in 3D,seen some other decent films aswell but i wouldn't buy a tv soley for 3D,anyways i think the vast majority of present gen sets have that capability.
