Ashley of AVI once told me that my Neutron IVs ideally needed 100 watts per channel to drive them.

The B1 is - I believe - only 35 watts - so maybe you could try the B200 at 60 watts instead. I have not heard these amps but would imagine they are quite warm sounding and therefore a good match with the Neutrons.

Having said all that I am a pikey cheapskate too and use a 40 watt Creek 4330 amp bought on eBay for about a ton. Sounds bloody good to me with my Dacmagic linked up through a Musical Fidelity X10D tube buffer.
