Multi Room options

Hi

I have just ordered the Focal Dome 5.1 speakers for my lounge for both movies and music. These will be powered by a new AV receiver (still deciding which - any suggestions welcome!) that will stream music from my laptop and spotify. Can someone please let me know the best way to listen to the same music in my kitchen and bedroom?

Also can the music be controlled from these rooms too?

Sonos, has Spotify built in and will sync perfectly. I'd be willing to bet it's easier to use than the AV receiver's own streaming functions.

Of course for three zones you'll probably end up spending more than you spent on the AV receiver but you didn't specify a budget so...

Otherwise you could try those USB thingys that WHF blogged about yesterday.

Can the Sonos power the Domes directly?

Sonos, has Spotify built in and will sync perfectly. I'd be willing to bet it's easier to use than the AV receiver's own streaming functions.

Not as part of a 5.1 setup no. You'd need the ZP90 to plug into your AV amplifier, digitally I'd recommend.
