Multi-channel Music on BD Players ?

Hi all,

Are there any BD players out there that will play the hi-res audio tracks of DVD-As and SACDs ? Or will I need to stick with a DVD player going forward ?

Does this have to be done through analogue connections or is it through HDMI ?

Denon have an expensive universal player. Oppo have a player with SACD support (multi channel analogue and DSD through HDMI) but it is not availalbe in Europe yet.

On the issue of connection types, you can use either. The Pioneer DV610 as an example, being a cheap player, nevertheless affords hi-res multi-channel playback via either hdmi or analogues.
