More interconnect help needed

Hi,

Why are some cables pseudo-balanced such as the Chord crimson plus and others aren't ?

If pseudo-balanced is the best way then why aren't all cables made this way ?

Can someone please explain the differences, pros and cons of each type to help me choose interconnects for my pre to power amp connections.

Have a look at the atlas cables website (atlascables.com), the tab "about cables" gives alot of info on cable construction etc.
