Monitor Aufdio Rs6 Bass

Helflo. I have these with arcam avr350. They have way too much bass. I triefd to port plugs on the rear with no result. Is it better with socks maybe? And the plugs at the front are for what? Alfso bass?

Ive just bought a pair of rs1's from my dealer, they sound great even with a pair of socks in the back of them, my speakers were an ex demo pair and didnt come with the foam bungs, the socks im useing are doing a great job but what do you expect, there 100% cotten, only the finest will do.

If the bass is overpowering you may have the speakers too near the wall - try moving them away from the wall if you can.

Bungs or socks - it shouldnt matter - but try them in both front and rear.

Black socks tend to work best.
