Mixing style speakers with floorstanders

I currently have KEF 3005SE speaker package but I'm thinking about getting some floorstanding speakers for better sound when playing music. I was wondering if its ok to keep the 3005 centre speaker in my setup as long as I buy KEF floorstanders or would this throw the sound off. The only reason I want to keep the centre speaker is due to a lack of space. I'm running these speakers with a 2400es

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

In my experience it sounds weird and I turned 'centre' off on the amp, thus only using the floorstanders at the front. Not specifically with all-KEF though, this was using floorstanding Tannoys with (very) small Yamaha centre - you may find it's fine.
