Mixing B&W Speakers

I have B&W 685's as my front speakers, B&W asw 608 sub,I would like the htm 62 centre speaker but it is too large! as are the 686's for rears, would mixing in three m1 speakers instead of those be allright?

M1 speakers for rears......no problem

M1 as centre with 685's......No..no

You can't really mix style speakers with tradional speakers at the front very well, unless you have the KEF 3001C perhaps.....but tonally that will not work with your 685's.....

Thank you pete, not what I wanted to hear, the htm62 is such a big speaker, I will have to have a rethink on my layout to try and fit it in.

Why not switch your fronts to the back and backs to the front ?
