I am looking at updating my audio equipment and I was looking at the MISSION CINEMA M33i HOME CINEMA SPEAKER PACKAGE from Superfi now the thing is I will be adding an amp later possible the Sony STRDA1200 or the new Cambridge Audio AZUR 540R V3 when it comes out.

Will these speakers be good for Music and Home Cinema?

Looks pretty good to me at that price. What are you going to be running it with until you buy one of those receivers?

I only have a technics surround sound system right now my main problem is that one of my front speakers is on the blink so I really need to change the speakers now.

I mainly use it for music; I would say 65% music and 35% films.

Yes, it'll be a huge leap up from what you have now, and get even better when you buy that new receiver. But make sure its the front speaker in your set-up that's on the blink and not the amp in the Technics, or you'll have the same problem with the new speakers...

Thanks. Its seems to be only one of the speakers at the front that cuts out but of course when I turn up the volume it comes back on, I tried re-wiring the speaker but its just the same. I guess I should try another amp or speaker but as I am going to update the whole system soon I haven't done so....
