I have the opportunity to land one of these with an SME series 3 arm a Shure V15.5 cartridge. Anyone had/have one of these and are they any good? What would be a fair price for this?

Oooooo shiny. It's a good deck and arm, and I'd say between £2-300 depending on condition.

Focus 1s used to be pretty cheap, but prices are climbing - expect to pay £250-£300 for a mint condition model. Nice deck though.

Nice deck, I have one with an RB250 and Goldring Eroica.

Expect to pay £150 for a base deck, with a decent arm & cartridge around £250+. With the Michell unipivot arm (used to have one - damn - sold it a few yrs back)around £350...

Sound is good , also have a Thorens TD160/SME 3009 II imp/1022X, and a Michell Syncro/Technoarm/Elite..

I do enjoy vinyl...

Here's an armless one I think his BIN is a little optimistic but you can make him an offer for the SME 3009 tonearm together with the deck.
