My two remaining upgrade options - mu-so by Naim and Quad Vena - are rapidly becoming one choice ... the Quad.
I was partly tempted by the optional 'jackets' especially the wooden one. However, i found out that if you buy the basic (£599) option, with it's gray metal case, you need to plug in the Bluetooth antenna. If you buy any of the optional finshes you don't need an antenna.
This means the optional 'jackets' (or whatever) do not slide over a metal case but replace it completely. Now, I don't want any RF spilling in (or out) of this new box and prefer to leave everything to metal (and Faraday) to keep everything in it's place.
That saves me £100 by not buying an optional finish but makes it a grey metal 'lump' with a Bluetooth antenna sticking out the back. Hmmmm.
Anyway it's much smaller than the (too long) mu-so and - now - it'll be £296 less.
I am no electrical or radio engineer so I can't really comment on whether a metal Faraday case is better than a wooden case in this application. (Amp and DAC and wireless.) I still use FM and the unit will be very close to the TV as well.
