Just a quickie: Did you eventually go for a 2-channel set-up? A few weeks ago you sought advice on various combos, but haven't seen any updates since.

Alas no, time and (mostly) budget are not really allowing me to go down this avenue at the moment. Trouble is, my setup at the moment is perfectly adequate for music and too many other things are detracting from the 2 channel upgrade (holiday - haven't been on a proper one for 3 years now, car, shiny Apple phones etc.).

Will defintely be taking it up at some point, but probably not till next year now. Thanks for the interest though!
