I have a marantz SA7001 super audio player. I do not tend to use super audio cd's and am thinking of replacing the unit. Are the following models as good as the player I have ?

I don't think they are, the SA7001 seems to be more in the Pearl Lite/8004/5 class.

The 7001-KI was, the standard 7001 not much different. Stick with it as CD replay is very good. Had the KI model for years. The 6003 model is a sideways move IMO.
