Marantz PM7004

With the PM6004 getting all the attention...................what about the PM7004 ?

Does someone own this amp..................opinions ?

Hi Cypher,

I do - typically detailed sound from Marantz, but a bit lacking in the low end. Thinking about adding a woofer, to be honest. The rotel ra-05 that I had a chance to compare with afterwards, sounded slightly more balanced.

I recently bought a Marantz PM7004 with NA7004 streamer and B&W CM1 and I'am very happy with it. I compared the PM6004 with PM7004 and in my opinion the PM7004 is a step upwards both at the high and low frequencies (worth the money). I cannot compare it with other amps

Upgraded from the Marantz pm6003 to Pm7004. Pm6003 was great with budget speaker but found with MA rx1 it didnt perform aswell. The marantz pm7004 amp was a big performance jump with these speakers.
