could anyone give me his feeling towards the setup I might go for:

Marantz PM6003 + Focal Chorus 706V + Project Debut III

I'll be listening to vinyls, mostly rock (Doors, Beatles, Stones...)

Not heard the Marantz you've mentioned, but the speakers are wonderful and the TT newer version of mine. The Marantzes can err on the bright side in the higher frequencies so the Focals will be smooth enough to cope.
