Marantz pm 14 amp advice needed

Hello,

I need some advice about my Marantz pm 14 amp.

The speakers i use can be bi-wire/amped, there are 6 ohm.

On the back of my amp are connections for bi-amping, but it says; 8-16 ohm's when it play's in a+b mode.

Can i only bi-amp with speakers which are 8 ohm's or more?

If so, i'm stuck with bi-wire option right?

Marantz pm 14, Marantz cd 17(mod), Wharfedale EVO 30's, W&M speakercable and Furutech FA 220 interconnect.

The 8-16 ohm requirement is if you are using your amp to drive TWO PAIRS of speakers. If you plan to drive a single pair of speakers from one amp, then all you will be doing is essentially bi-wiring. Bi-amping refers to using two separate amplifiers to drive a single pair of speakers.

So, i can bi-amp my EVO's? or only bi-wire them? (one set of speakers).

I mean set the amp on speaker a+b when bi-amped

Only bi-wire. You would need to buy a separate power amplifier in order to bi-amp.
